Daddy, you were full of life, cheerful and jovial (as always), the last time you and mummy visited my office sometime last year.

I was shocked when I saw a billboard at Enugu-Portharcourt expressway (Awgu precisely) signifying your burial. Although, I did not see the picture well; the name was catchy and I started calling your number immediately, but it rang out several times.

When I got to Port Harcourt same day, I came online to search your name, only to see the tributes.

You were a good man, who always seek to uplift and lighten up everywhere you were, a father to all and humility-personified.

May the Most Holy Trinity welcome and count you among the SAINTS, Amen.

Big Daddy, the sad news of your untimely demise got to me as a shock. Well, you lived a life worthy of emulation. May God rest your soul while giving solace to the entire family and friends to bear the great loss. Adieu Big Daddy, Adieu Omulununo.

This is indeed a sad moment for all of us especially your immediate family, and may God grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss!
You indeed touched our lives and we’d hoped that we could share these memories with you longer but the wicked one who steals our joy through death did not allow.
Yet, we can absolutely thank God that you have run an exemplary life course worthy of emulation. Your hardworking, generous ,very Supportive and loving heart will be missed!!!You sowed seeds of kindness everywhere,Little did I know my son met you during their vacation with your grand children and remembers the stories about airplanes. Wow! You impacted everyone positively indeed! A true father of all!!!

Late Sir SylvanusOkafor Nwankwor (Ezeafulu na Agbogugu) was a dedicated and devoted christian who never relented in the things of God, a man of impeccable character, verypeaceful and a great role model to the entire people of Obinagu village Agbogugu Community at large.

He lived a fulfilled life, having lived long enough to see his children and grandchildren, his paternity role will be greatly missed by so many people and the vacuum created by his death will be very difficult to fill.

His selfless service and enormous contributions to his people both home and abroad will also be greatly missed.

His memory and legacy will forever be cherished and remain evergreen in the hearts of his children and his loved ones.

We pray that the good Lord in His infinite mercy will grant you andyour entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, comfort and assuage the pain of those he left behind.

Not all family are connected by blood,
Some just happen.
You happened to me Sir, through your son Chijioke,
And I can also address myself as your son, like you always called me.
Even on your sick bed, you reminded me of that fact,
That I am your son.

Writing this is difficult,
But is the least I can do.
Because how do I say goodbye to a gentle man that acted in noble motives of men,
How do i say goodbye to a man who never demeans others when he easily can,
Your generosity never stopped.
I will take solace in the fact that you created champions in your lifetime,
And a creator of champions, leaves forever in the heart of champions.
A real CHAMPION you are, and in our hearts you will never die.

A Tribute to a Legend

Death is painful; however, death taking a precious Legend, and a father is more painful. You were a man with a good heart who cared so much about friends and families. You contributed to the development of every single person you met on your path, and you never seized to be an inspiration to all.
Thank you for all you’ve done for our family and my Dad in particular.
We shall never forget Sir. We thank the Almighty for your fulfilled life.
In fact, You were greatness personified. You may be gone, but you have left a great legacy for us.
