While Azeroth might be in a constant struggle of war and powerful new enemies to defeat, the world...of Warcraft can be filled with love as well. That's where the World of Warcraft (WoW) Dragonflight Love is in the Air event for 2023 comes into play.

This guide outlines everything you need to know about the Love is in the Air event for WoW players to enjoy in 2023, from the exact start and end dates to the quests, rewards, and activities players can participate in.

Please note:This event is also available in WoW Classic, and the Dragonflight expansion is not required to participate in Love is in the Air 2023.

WoW Love is in the Air Start & End Dates 2023

TheLove is in the Air event in WoW begins on 6 February 2023 at 10:00 a.m. PST in all regions. The event ends at the same time on 20 February 2023, so you have exactly two weeks to get all the rewards, complete the daily quests, kill those bosses, and enjoy a host of perfumes.

Love is in the Air Quests & Rewards in WoW Dragonflight

Celebrating the month of love, Horde players should head ot Ogrimmar, while Alliance players should head to Stormwind City. Here, you will find Lovely Merchants who sell you seasonal gifts and goodies, such as perfumes, Heart Candies, chocolates, and much more.

You can purchase these with Love Tokens, obtained by completing daily quests during the Love is in the Air event, defeating specific bosses, and more. Check out the list of goodies that Lovely Merchants sells below, as per a detailed post by WoWHead.

• A Gift for the Warchief's Advisor - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Orgrimmar Card
• A Gift for the Banshee Queen - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Undercity Card
• A Gift for the High Chieftain - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Thunder Bluff Card
• A Gift for the Emissary of Stormwind - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Stormwind Card
• A Gift for a Lord of Ironforge - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Ironforge Card
• A Gift for the High Priestess of Elune - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Darnassus Card
• A Gift for the Prophet - Repeatable daily quest. Awards Love Token x5 and a Lovely Exodar Card

• A Cloudlet of Classy Cologne - The Crown Chemical Company would like you to test out their Crown Perfume Sprayer on 10 different people. You will be rewarded with 5x Love Token.
• A Perfect Puff of Perfume - The Crown Chemical Company would like you to test out their Crown Cologne Sprayer on 10 different people. You will be rewarded with 5x Love Token.
• Bonbon Blitz - The Crown Chemical Company would like you to toss samples from the Crown Chocolate Sampler to 10 different people. You will be rewarded with 5x Love Token.
• Crushing the Crown - Defeat 12 Crown Chemical Co. Employees and use the Snagglebolt's Khorium Bomb. This rewards 5 Love Tokens.

Lastly, there's the main questline for the Love is in the Air 2023 event, called "Investigate the Crown Chemical Co." You can start the quest by picking it up from a Junior Agent Crown Chemical Co. camp. This quest chain rewards you with Love Tokens and, importantly, unlocks another daily quest where you will need to fight the boss Apothecary Hummel.

WoW Dragonflight Love is in the Air 2023 Boss

Once you complete the main questline for Love is in the Air 2023, you will be able to participate in killing the event-exclusive boss, Apothecary Hummel. This boss is located in Shadowfang Keep.

You need to be level 16 or higher. From here, you can queue via LFG for the event's quest to kill the Love is in the Air boss or by speaking to the NPC Steamwheedle Shyster, located in Stormwind City or in Orgrimmar, depending on your faction.

This boss drops a tonne of goodies, from special fireworks to amulets with the "Love Rocket" effect, Love Tokens, the Heart-Shaped Box, a unique pet, and more. The main prize from the Heart-Shaped box is the X-45 Heartbreaker mount!
